Commercial and residential commissions welcome. Custom color combinations are encouraged. No returns.
Platters must be advertised for sale at retail cost or higher (retail price is 200% of wholesale)
Client provides the following:
Image of space.
Measurements of the area that glass will fit within.
½ deposit to begin the project - the remainder due at time of shipment.
A design fee may be applied for complex projects.
We will supply:
A Photoshop layout.
Images of progress, if requested.
Individual custom steel brackets for installation painted to compliment the wall.
Installation instructions.
Glass and brackets numbered with directional arrows.
Photo of the layout with corresponding numbers.
If requested: A glass color sample for $125.00 that is refundable upon return. Additional samples non-refundable.
Installation services available at additional cost.

Landscape Series
The impressionist forms of the Landscape Series were inspired by the Nicholsons’ home environment and travels of together in California and beyond. Known for the painterly quality of their color application and the thoughtful cohesion of their designs, Nicholson van Altena Glass continues the Nicholsons’ use of powders to form signature landscape textures.

Wave Series
Raised in Hawaii, these forms were inspired by Rick’s experiences of surfing as a child. Point Break is the
point at which the wave breaks over the crest.
Key Features: The black lip wrap on the outer edge of these pieces frames each platter, while a solid back of white comes only partially towards the edges, leaving a transparent portion on each platter

Tributary Series
The soothing vessels of the Tributary Series embody the calming colors and refreshing movements of the cool, crisp mountain rivers. Layering multiple application techniques, Nicholson van Altena Glass creates the illusion of texture and movement using multiple forms of colored glass.
Key Features: Slightly textured white backing gives a feeling of movement to each piece and there is play with the reactive nature of some glass with granite-like swatches on every piece.
